FUN Shoot Bays A2 – A3

NOTE: Bay A2. This course of fire will be for .223 (5.56x45) caliber rifles or pistol caliber carbines.
Start with a Magazine loaded with 10 rds. Standing only.
On Bay A2, a 100 Yard range, we will be shooting on six 18x24” steel plates and two steel “pig silhouette” targets. Course of fire will be One round on each pig, and one round on each of the six 18x24” plates, a total of 8 rounds at 100 yards from the targets. Eight targets, if you miss a target, you will have two shots to make up for misses. You must shoot at least one shot at each Pig. Your score for each string of fire will be total time taken to shoot the eight targets plus a two second penalty for missed shots. We will shoot this course of fire twice, and we will time each string of fire.
NO STEEL CORE AMMUNITION ALLOWED
On Bay A3, for .22 LR Rifles: From 25 yards, Starting with 10 rounds in your firearm, shoot one round only at the three 10” Steel Plates, and one round each on plate rack of 6, reduced size steel bowling pins. You will be allowed the one extra round to make up a miss on the bowling pin targets only. NOTE: To make up a miss on a bowling pin, you can shoot any of the bowling pins plates. We shoot this string of fire twice.
For .22 LR and Centerfire Pistols. Same course of fire as above, EXCEPT: Instead of the bowling pin targets, you will shoot at the 8” plate rack. Again, you will have one round to make up a miss on the 8” plate rack only. Misses are a 2 second penalty.
Please stop at the Range Clubhouse to sign-in and pay your shooting fees. Match fee is $10.00 for all shooters except 18 and under. If the bay is muddy, we cancel the match. Dress accordingly, bring chairs if you have them and water.
