Introduction to Bowling Pin Shooting

This match will offer insight to the new upcoming match format that RCRPR is about to debut.

The match consists of 4 strings. Each string will require the shooter to engage 5 regulation sized bowling pins that are steel silhouettes. The shooting distances will be 7 yards for pistol and 15 yards for PCC’s or rifles. The object is to knock all the pins off the table.

You may take as many makeup shots as you like, but each makeup shot will a one second time penalty against your score.

At random locations a black NO SHOOT pin will be present. If you knock over the Black Pin, this will result in a one second time penalty against your score.

A complete stage is 20 rounds with no makeup shots.

Any Non Magnum pistol caliber PCC, or handgun will be allowed to run. This includes .22lr pistols, revolvers, or rifles.

This match is very .22 friendly. It is also great for single stacks.

This is our first match under our Summer hours for this year. Set your alarm clocks.

New shooters, youngsters, and any guest shooters are welcome to participate.

Bring a chair and beverage, and dress accordingly to the weather conditions.
