Pfc Mann single-handedly destroyed an enemy emplacement and rained fire on German troops from an exposed position with his M1 rifle, despite being wounded 5 times. Even though gravely wounded, 22-year-old Mann insisted on serving guard duty that evening. The next morning, during a counterattack, a German grenade was thrown into his pit. Unable to get out, Pfc Mann smothered the blast with his body saving his brother troops. For this action, he received 5 Purple Hearts and the Medal of Honor. This shoot is for M1 rifles only. All steel. Best time. From a sandbagged bunker you will engage 4 steel plates at 140 yds (approx). No misses should require only 1 reload so accuracy pays off! Targets will be engaged left to right only and repeated 4 times for a minimum of 16 shots. First run is your timed run but repeat runs are available for the best overall time!
