The spirit of these pistol matches is to offer competitions that are restricted to issue or stock pistols without specialized accurizing features. This is to ensure that the pistols used are affordable and accessible to the greatest possible numbers of competitors. Any pistol configuration or item of equipment that is not mentioned in these rules or that is contrary to the intent and spirit of these rules is prohibited. Note: This match follows the CMP rules and format but is not officially sanctioned/registered with the CMP. FBI Qualification Course of Fire Red Cliffs Rifle & Pistol Range - Bay A-3 PLEASE SIGN IN AND PAY ($10.00) AT THE OFFICE BEFORE COMING TO A-3. For Handguns Only In 2019, the FBI changed the course of fire criteria for agent handgun qualification. Shooting this event will help you realize weaknesses in your self-defense firearm skills. Please note: Any Centerfire non-magnum firearm is suitable. It is recommended you use your concealed carry firearm for this event. This course of fire requires drawing from a holster, so plan on bringing one for your firearm. However, Shooters may opt for a low-ready starting position if desired. Firearms with optics are permitted. If you choose to shoot a .22 LR handgun you will not be required to use a holster, but you will need two magazines. For all shooters: The FBI Qual. course will require a minimum of 50 rounds and two magazines and a magazine holder for at least one magazine (or someone can hand you one.) We will be shooting from 3, 5, 7, 15 and 25 yards. There are ten (10) timed events for this course of fire. You can go to this website for more details. This course of fire was designed for semi-auto handguns. We will accommodate revolver shooters if you want to shoot a revolver. There will be new FBI Qual paper target for this event. New shooters, youngsters, and any guest shooters are welcome to participate. Bring a chair and beverage, and dress accordingly to the weather conditions. P. P. C. Warmup Red Cliffs Rifle & Pistol Range - Bay A-3 PLEASE SIGN IN AND PAY ($10.00) AT THE OFFICE BEFORE COMING TO A-3. This Match is for P.C.C.s (Pistol Caliber Carbine) only .22 caliber rifles will be allowed. NO pistols or magnum calibers will be allowed. The course of fire will have some movement and a round count of 23 rounds per string. There will be 3 shooter boxes with a different array shot from each box. The targets range from cardboard targets to steel targets ranging in size from 6” plates to 18”x24”. The course of fire will be run under one time per string. If you do not wish to be timed that is fine, let the RSO know. New shooters, youngsters, and any guest shooters are welcome to participate.
