William Leslie Gillingham

2/10/1938 to 11/20/2021
Bill left us in Nov due to failing health. He leaves behind Lucy Gillingham his wife since 1997. He will be missed by his daughters Kelly, Sarah, Molly, Valarie and his son Ryan as well as his grandchildren Owen and Sammy, Junior and Dominic as well as other extended family. Bill was a US Coast Guard retired Veteran with 20 years of service. He earned 2 Bronze stars, the Vietnam Service Metal but at every level, he was known and praised for his excellent rifle scores. After his service, he enjoyed Cowboy Action Shooting.
He worked to create a quality match for the Huntsman World Senior Games and put in the hours at the range to make it a success. He loved to work! Around the house or for others he would always do his best! All he ever asked of his wife was a good dinner at night and not to change the menu as he would dream about it all day.
His other passion was to fish! He would work hard all year just to get things done so he could fish in his winter spot in Yuma, AZ. He was on the lake with his line in the water the day he passed. We are sure he is continuing fishing in heaven now.
He is loved and missed!
