The individual 900-point matches will be conducted on Tuesday evenings with the date/time details listed below. The program will follow the 2025 Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Competition Pistol Rules. Program is open to RCRPR members and non-members (14 years of age or older). Dates: May 6, May 20, June 3, June 17, July 1, July 15, July 29, August 12, August 26 & Sept. 9. Time: 6:30 pm Please arrive at 6:00 pm to set up and post target frames and targets. Double Steel Challenge Saturday June 28th 2025, we will be shooting at two Steel Challenge target arrays to be revealed on Saturday. Five Steel plates of different sizes will be arranged such that you will shoot at four plates before shooting the fifth plate last, known as the Stop Plate. Shooters will shoot and be timed at this array five times, with the worst time discarded so that your four best times added up will be your total score for that sting of fire. Misses or shooting the Stop Plate out of order will incur a 2 second penalty. You can shoot either of these stages as many times as we have time for. Minimum number of rounds for each stage is 25. You can bring any .22 LR rifle or handgun , and any Pistol or PCC Carbine in pistol caliber. No Magnum Calibers allowed. Bring as may mags as you have for your firearms. We will also recruit volunteers to load mags in necessary. Be sure your firearms will function with the mags and ammo you plan on using. Our intent is to run both strings at the same time, so timers and scorekeepers will be needed for both setups. Match fee is $10.00 for all shooters except 18 and under (which shoot for free). Dress accordingly and bring drinks, chairs, and a table if you have them. If very hot, we will set up awnings to shoot under. However, it should be a very nice day.
