Fun Shoot Introduction to Bowling Pin Shooting This match will offer insight to the new upcoming match format that RCRPR is about to debut. The match consists of 4 strings. Each string will require the shooter to engage 5 regulation sized bowling pins that are steel silhouettes. The shooting distances will be 7 yards for pistol and 15 yards for PCC’s or rifles. The object is to knock all the pins off the table. You may take as many makeup shots as you like, but each makeup shot will a one second time penalty against your score. At random locations a black NO SHOOT pin will be present. If you knock over the Black Pin, this will result in a one second time penalty against your score. A complete stage is 20 rounds with no makeup shots. Any Non Magnum pistol caliber PCC, or handgun will be allowed to run. This includes .22lr pistols, revolvers, or rifles. This match is very .22 friendly. It is also great for single stacks. This is our first match under our Summer hours for this year. Set your alarm clocks. New shooters, youngsters, and any guest shooters are welcome to participate. Bring a chair and beverage, and dress accordingly to the weather conditions. Fun Shoot Mini 2 Gun Match April 25th, 2026 Red Cliffs Rifle and Pistol Range- Bay A-5, 10:00 A.M. This Match will be shot at the Shoot House on bay A-5. Any non-magnum pistol caliber handgun or rifle/PCC will be allowed to run. You will need a minimum of 40 rounds per string. We will be shooting at a combination of paper and steel targets at ranges varying from 1-20 yards. It is possible that we will be able to run everyone through more than once so be sure you have enough ammo. Also if you wish to shoot it a second time with a different pistol or PCC bring that as well. The paper portion will require 20 rounds so make sure you have enough magazines to make it through. Qualification Red Cliffs Rifle and Pistol Range - Bay A-8, 10:00am Come on out and see if you can pass the F.B.I. Qualification. This match is for non-magnum pistols only. No Rifles or PCC’s will be allowed to run. It is highly recommended you bring your ACTUAL daily carry gun. This will be a great way to test your skills with a gun you may use to defend yourself or others with. This match will require a minimum of 2 magazines and 50 rounds of ammunition. If you wish to shoot a revolver that will be fine. This course typically requires you to draw from a holster. If you wish to draw from concealment this will be an option. Their will be 10 timed strings to this stage. Each shooter will fire at 3,5,7,15, and 25 yards. They will all be shot at your own personal F.B.I. bottle target which you will be able to take with you when finished. It is getting warm already so bring a chair and a drink. Steel Challenge Red Cliffs Rifle and Pistol Range March 28th, 2026  10:00 am  Bay A-6 PLEASE SIGN IN AND PAY ($10.00) AT THE OFFICE BEFORE COMING TO A-6. This match will consist of 2 different Steel Challenge stages. Showdown and Accelerator. Any Non-Magnum Pistol or PCC will be allowed to run including .22lr Pistols and Rifles. Centerfire is typically shot from a holster and rimfire is typically shot from low ready. One stage consists of 5 strings of 5 shots. 25 rounds per stage with no makeups. Come prepared with the appropriate amount of magazines to get through a stage. 50 rounds minimum to complete both stages. It is getting warmer so come prepared. Forest Through the Trees March 14th 2026, 10:00 am Red Cliffs Rifle and Pistol Range       PLEASE SIGN IN AND PAY ($10.00) AT THE OFFICE BEFORE COMING TO A-6. This match will be for any Non-Magnum Pistol or PCC. This includes any .22 LR Pistol, PCC or Rifle. We will be shooting from one large shooting box situated behind an array of barricades designed to obstruct your view and force some movement in order to engage all targets. The targets will consist of a random array of steel targets set at distances that vary from 7 yards to 20 yards. This match usually runs fairly quickly and so shooters can shoot at least twice. Bring more than one gun. Most people bring a PCC and a Pistol. All are welcome at the Fun Shoot. New shooters, youngsters, and any guest shooters are welcome to participate.
