Dear Red Cliff’s Rifle & Pistol Association members,
Yesterday we received an email from the Washington County Commissioners Victor Iverson, Gil Almquist, and Adam Snow notifying the RCRPA Board of Directors that they have terminated the RCRPA contract and the termination date is 11:59 pm February 23, 2027.
No reason was given for this unethical action. We know you all have a lot of questions, as do we. We will put out a more detailed message after we meet as well as consult with legal counsel.
RCRPA will remain open to the members, and the public and conduct business as usual. We will no longer accept new memberships and renewals will be stopped but all memberships will be honored until the terminated date.
A copy of the commissioners’ letter is attached and will be posted on the RCRPA website. The County Commissioners emails and phone numbers are at the bottom of this letter.
